The book *Transformation” has nicely captured the movements in Indian Banking through the last three decades. Right from the initial days of Banking reform in early nineties, it has presented the developments like risk based supervision, advent of new generation and private Banks, NPA management, technological improvements, demonstration etc in a lucid manner. It will be very useful for students, bankers and research scholars in the area. I am sure it will serve as a reference book in the field of contemporary Indian Banking and Finance.
